DHL Global Forwarding appoints new CEO for S Asia

DHL Global Forwarding has appointed Thomas Tieber as the chief executive officer for ASEAN and South Asia, says a press release.
Tieber has been with the DHL Group for 26 years. He has held key management positions in business in Thailand, and establishing operations in Banglade sh, India, Myanmar, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Commenting on his new appointment, Tieber said: “As one of the regions with high growth potential within Asia Pacific, DHL Global Forwarding has been investing considerably in ASEAN as well as South Asia over the years. This has allowed our business operations to grow exponentially despite challenging market conditions.”
