Two Ctg militants identified

Two militants, out of four who were killed in a drive at Chhayaneer building of Chowdhury para in Sitakunda of Chittagong on Thursday, were identified by their family members yesterday. The two militants were identified as Kamal Uddin, son of Mozzaffor Ahmed and his wife Jobayeda Begum, daughter of Nurul Alam hailing from Baishari Union of Naikhanchhari of Bandarban distirct.
On Saturday, police picked up Mozzaffor Ahmed and Nurul Alam from Naikhanchhari of Bandarban. Mozzaffor Ahmed has identified that Kamal Uddin is his son and the woman is his daughter-in-law and the toddler is his grandson, said Nur-E-Alam Mina, superintendent of police (SP) of Chittagong District. If they want, they can also take the bodies, said the SP. The wrecked parts a laptop was found at the Chhayaneer building, added the police official.
Police suspect that the wrecked parts of the laptop belonged to the militants who left Sadhan Kutir on Wednesday. On that day, police arrested a couple along with their three months old toddler from Sadhan Kutir of Namar Bazar in Sitakunda. They also seized bombs and agencies from the building. The militants told police that two youths went out from their home with a laptop on Wednesday morning.
On Thursday, during a raid on Chhayaneer building in Sitakunda, four militants and a child were killed. Police deactivate seven more bombs in the house yesterday.
