Huge illegally imported sarees seized

Bangladesh Coast Gaurd (BCG) Mongla West Zone on Saturday seized huge number of illegally imported foreign sarees from a truck at Rupsha Bridge area in Khulna city, reports BSS.
BCG operation officer of Lieutenant Commander M Fariduzzaman said acting on a tip-off, a team of their conducted a drive adjacent to Rupsha Bridge area early today and seized the sarees worth about Tk 35 lakh from an apparently abandoned truck.
He said the seized goods would be handed over to Khulna Customs for subsequent procedures.
