BOA announces 72 councillors’ name for polls

Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) announced the name of 72 councillors from different federations, districts and divisional sports associations and services’ sports federations for the upcoming BOA election.
Besides 72 councillors, four representatives each from president’s nominated and BOA patrons, one each from National Sports Council (NSC) and Ministry of Youth and Sports were also selected.
Golam Quddus Chowdury, former Secretary General of the BOA, is one of the president’s choice while former vice-president (BOA) Anjan Chowdhury Pintu’s name came from the patron’s quota.   
It was more than surprised that veteran sports organiser, vice-president of the BOA in the incumbent committee, in fact one of the most popular sports organisers Harunur Rashid was not nominated from any federation or association.
