Mijarul Quayes’ body expected to arrive tomorrow

The body of Bangladesh Ambassador to Brazil and former foreign secretary Mohamed Mijarul Quayes is expected to arrive here on March 20 as Brasilia bade him farewell amid a full military honour, reports BSS.
Officials and family sources said a Qatar Airways aircraft would carry him back home early on Monday while he would be laid to eternal rest at Banani Graveyard beside his parents' grave on the next day.
They said Quayes's first namaz-e-janaza would be held on foreign ministry premises at 8.30 am where his colleagues would also pay their respect to the veteran diplomat who also served as the top bureaucrat of the foreign office for years.
