Leaders of Dhaka University Teachers Association (DUTA) yesterday said a group is trying to destabilise the educational environment of the university by blaming each other centring the seat distribution in different halls recently.
They said a number teachers, students and journalists have recently been harassed by some rowdy students following the seats distribution in different residential halls of the university.
A press release jointly issued by Dhaka University Teachers Association (DUTA) president Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal and its general secretary Prof Dr Rahmat Ullah said a group is trying to destabilise the university under the excuse of the inclusion of some educational institutions under Dhaka University (DU).
This group under the excuse of turning educational institution into an institute of Dhaka University (DU) is creating obstacles in the streets resulting in mass sufferings in the name of movements.
