150cr budget for Dwarf film starring Shah Rukh Khan?
Earlier we had reported that director and filmmaker Anand L Rai had pulled of a casting coup of sorts after he roped in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone to top line the cast of his next venture. In fact we had also reported that the said film which featured two of the biggest names in the industry would see Shah Rukh Khan playing a dwarf and would be produced under the banner of Eros International.
Well, now we hear that the film, which is still to go on floors, will feature a massive budget of approx. Rs. 150 crores. Apparently the film will feature an immense amount of VFX work to make Shah Rukh Khan look the part of a dwarf. In fact, to assist with the same the actors production house and VFX team at Red Chillies will also come on board as co-producers to help with the project.
However, refuting the rumours of the yet to be titled films budget, Anand L. Rai says, It is an expensive film with Khan saab as it involves VFX. But definitely it is not Rs. 150 cr.
