Two women �commit suicide�

In separate incidents, two women reportedly committed suicide in the capital’s Pallabi and Kalabagan areas on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Saraban Tahura alias Tuhin, 26, wife of Abdul Momen of Kalabagan area, and Mukta Banu, 25, wife of Shafiqul Islam of Pallabi Police Station.
Being informed, sub-inspector Shamim Ahmed of the Kalabagan police station recovered the hanging body of Tuhin after breaking open the door of her bedroom around 1:05 am, said sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Tuhin married Momen eight years back following love affairs. She was reportedly mentally ill, the DMCH sources said quoting her family members.
Tuhin might have taken her life over a family feud, police said.
Earlier at about 11:50 pm, SI Jahangir Alam of the Pallabi police station recovered the body of Mukta Banu from her bedroom.
