A tribunal here on Wednesday granted bail to national cricketer Arafat Sunny in a case filed under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act, reports UNB.
CyberTribunal Judge M Saiful Islam passed the order following a petition filed by his lawyer.
Nasrin Sultana, who claims to be his wife, filed the case with Mohammadpur Police Station on January 5. Police arrested Sunny from Aminbazar area in Savar upazila, in connection with the case on January 22.
Besides, another case was filed against Sunny and his mother on charge of demanding Tk 20 lakh as dowry on January 23.
