Tk 1 crore for Nusrat from PM relief fund

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday gave financial assistance of Taka one crore for the treatment of Dr Sabrina Nusrat, wife of Bangladesh Air Force Squadron Leader Md Mahmudul Hasan, from her Relief and Welfare Fund, reports BSS.
The prime minister handed over a cheque for the amount to Dr Nusrat at her office here yesterday morning, PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar was present on the occasion.
Dr Nusrat was critically injured in a fatal road accident in front of Hotel Raddison Blu in the capital on October 19, 2016 on her way to the hotel to join a workshop.
She was rushed to CMH in Dhaka after she had severe haemorrhage in her face, head and brain.
Later, Dr Nusrat was sent to Singapore National University Hospital on October 28 for better treatment at the advice of the physicians.
