Chanchal Mahmood turns 60

Renowned photographer Chanchal Mahmood, who is known as the pioneer of model photography, will celebrate his 60th birthday today in homely manner. There is no special programme scheduled on his birthday. Chanchal Mahmood’s wife Raina Mahmood wished that he would celebrate his 60th birthday with his thousands of photography students.
Chanchal Mahmood said, “I could not imagine that how quickly time passed. But, I am spending good time with all and happy with my today’s position and achievement. Everybody please pray to Allah to protect me and keep me well.”
Chanchal Mahmood played a unique role to make the actor-actress big star. Quite a few actors and models who made it big had their first professional shots done by Mahmood including- Salman Shah, Nobel, Pollob, Sweety, Tania, Shomi Kaiser, Bipasha Hayat, Afsana Mimi, Moushumi, Shabnur, Popy and so on.
Dhaka University former student Chanchal Mahmood is a soldier of Bangabandhu’s ideology and since the death of Bangabandhu he always wears black attires.
