Prospective 124 spinners selected for 3rd phase

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) picked 105 male and 19 female spinners for the third phase of the ‘Khoj the No.1 Spinner’ campaign following the nation-wide talent hunt initiative for the prospective spinners yesterday.

This phase will be held at the BCB-National Cricket Academy (NCA) ground, starting from March 20 to 27. BCB central technical team will be in charge of the talent selection process at this phase. Robi will provide all the logistics support.
The spinners selected from the second phase will be put through some grueling fitness test with thorough analysis of their bowling action with the help of video analysis. At the end of this phase the winners of the competition will be declared.
Joint-venture of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Robi Axiata Limited, the campaign successfully completed the second phase of ‘Khoj the No.1 Spinner’ in Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Comilla and Faridpur.
The shortlisted male and female spinners from the first phase are competing with each other in their respective divisional trial session venues. The last divisional selection will be held in Dhaka and Rajshahi on March 14.
