Nazma Akhtar and Advocate Apu Ukil have been reelected president and general secretary respectively of Juba Mohila League, a women youth front of ruling Awami League (AL), reports BSS. AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader announced the names at the second session of the association’s 2nd National Council at Krishibid Institution at Farmgate in the capital.
Earlier, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the council of the ruling party’s women youth front releasing pigeons and balloons. Besides, new committee of Dhaka City North and South units of the association were also announced. Sabina Akhtar Tuhin and Tahera Khatun Lutfa were elected president and general secretary respectively of Dhaka City North unit of Juba Mohila League.
