Emphatic win for Gladiators

Sohaib with a brilliant marksmanship steered Dhaka Gladiators to an emphatic 96-51 win over Eagles Club in the Unimed Unihealth Premier Division Basketball League yesterday at Dhanmondi Basketball gymnasium in the capital.Sohaib alone caged 33 points as Gladiators established a 51-22 lead during the first half. Apart from Sohaib,  Sajib contributed 14 for the winners. Mizan (13) and Netai (10) were the two players of Eagles to reach double figures. Earlier in the first match of the day,  Dhumketo Club humbled Old DOHS 62-32. The winners led the first half 30-13. Sajib with 20 was the top scorer for Dhumketo.
