2 missing children found dead

Two children were found dead in Shibalaya and Ghior upazilas in the district yesteday.Manirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shibalaya Police Station, said Sabbir Hossain, 8, a class II student of Nihalpur Government Primary School and son of Basu sheikh of Nihalpur village, went missing on Thursday afternoon.
Local people spotted the body of Sabbir at Aricha old truck terminal with half of his body covered under sand in the morning and informed police.
Police suspected that the boy was killed in a planned way.
In another incident, a seven-year-old boy named Duranta, son of Shahidul Islam of Boikanthapur village in Ghior upazila, was found dead near his house yesterday morning.
Yunus Mia, grandfather of the child, said the boy was killed following enmity over a land.
Police sent the body to Sadar Hospital morgue, said Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ghior Police Station.Family sources said Duronto went missing on his way to one of his relatives house on Thursday. Since then he remained missing.
