Under-trial prisoner dies at CMCH

CHITTAGONG: An under-trial prisoner died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) yesterday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Momtaz Ali, 46, an accused in a check forgery case and son of Mohammad Edris, a resident of Sitakunda upazila of the district.
Iqbal Kabir, Superintendent of Chittagong Central Jail, said Momtaz was taken to the CMCH around 7.30am after he complained of chest pain, and doctors declared him dead upon admission.
