2000 illegal gas lines cut off in Gazipur

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, Gazipur zonal office disconnected more than 2000 illegal household gas connections at Etahata of Gazipur city yesterday. 

Titas gas authority in association with the district administration conducted the drives in the area.
Manager of Titas gas transmission and distribution company Gazipur zonal office  engineer Sabber Ahmed said a mobile court, led by executive magistrate AKM Golam Murshed Khan, conducted  drive in the area and disconnected more than 2000 lines of 1000 house of the area.
 They also seized about 5000 meters of pipe, and other materials used for illegal gas lines.  Sensing the presence of mobile court, the illegal gas users of the area fled from their houses. 
General Manager of the Titas gas transmission and distribution company Gazipur zonal office SM Abdul Wadud, was present during the time.
