Three popular faces in Chumki’s new drama serial

Audience-admired actress Naznin Hasan Chumki, who spends enough time for writing scripts and directing TV plays besides acting, is currently making a new drama serial for the new satellite TV channel, Bangla TV. The shooting of her new drama serial titled ‘Tilottoma-Z’ is underway, which has also been scripted by Chumki herself.
Three popular faces of the country’s showbiz, Hridi Haq, Tanzika Amin and Nadia Mim are playing three important characters in the drama serial. Hridi will be seen appearing as Dil Afroz, an officer of Special Branch of Police, while Tanzika as Priya Gomez, a television journalist and Lux star Nadia Mim will play as Ashalata Parna, a documentary maker. Meanwhile, shooting of drama serial has begun from the current week in the capital’s Uttara.
Chumki said about making the drama serial, “I am making this drama serial based on a story of metro life mainly. Dil Afroz, Priya Gomez and Ashalata Parna will meet each other while following a case. The story will move forward from this point.”
“Alongside these three popular faces, Arfan, Shahadat Hossain, Rawnak Hasan, Tasnuva Elvin and others are acting in the drama serial. Everyone is doing fantastic in their respective roles. Being the writer and director of the drama serial, I am satisfied with the performance of the artistes”, she added.
This is for the first time that Hridi Haq and Nadia Mim are working under the direction of Naznin Chumki.
Hridi said, “I am enjoying a lot to work under the direction of Naznin Chumki.
Nadia said, “In one word, the script of the drama serial is extraordinary. For this reason, I am working here with immense interest. Besides, Naznin Chumki loves me so much. So, I am working in her unit very cordially.”
Naznin Chumki informed DhakaLive that she will primarily complete the shooting of first 13 episodes. The drama serial will start telecasting on a satellite TV channel soon.
