BNP leader Zainul Abedin Farroque yesterday alleged that another plot is on to split BNP ahead of the next parliamentary elections, reports UNB. “Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said BNP would finally join the polls. His recent remarks on BNP have exposed that there’s a conspiracy to split our party,” he said.
Farroque, a member of BNP chairperson’s advisory council, came up with the allegation while speaking at a human chain programme arranged by Jatiyatabadi Desh Bachao, Manush Bachao Andolan in front of the Jatiya Press club protesting fresh gas price hike.
He said the ruling party leaders are talking about cancellation of BNP’s registration with the Election Commission as part of their new plot to keep it away from the election through various tricks.
