Govt committed to reviving past glory of jute

The present government has been implementing various pragmatic initiatives to revive the past glory of the country’s golden fibre through boosting its production and demand at home and abroad, reports BSS.
The opinion came at a post-rally discussion organised by Directorate of Jute under the Ministry of Jute and Textiles with assistance of district administration here on Monday in observance of the National Jute Day- 2017.
