Journos to block roads Mar 12

Journalists will observe a two-hour countrywide road blockade programme on March 12, demanding immediate announcement of the 9th wage board for them, reports UNB.
The programme is also meant for pressing home to ensure the trial of the killings of all journalists, including Sagar-Runi’s ones, said a press release of a faction of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) signed by its secretary general Omar Faruk.
The road blockade programme will be observed from 11am to 1pm on the day.
In the capital, it will be observed in front of the Jatiya Press Club with the initiative of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ). The BFUJ urged all the journalist unions and mass media organisations all over the country to make the programme a success.
