Newly appointed and promoted ministers and state ministers yesterday visited the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara and paid homage to him, reports UNB from Gopalganj.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam, BSc, Science and Technology Minister Yeafesh Osman, State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim and State Minister for Food Nuruzzaman Ahmed separately placed wreaths at Bangabandhu’s grave at noon.
They also offered fateha and munajat there.
Gopalganj District Council Administrator Chowdhury Emdadul Haq and Deputy Commissioner M Khalilur Rahman were, among others, present.
