Woman killed ‘by brother’ in C’nawabganj

A young woman was killed allegedly by her brother at Jhairapar village under Charbagdanga union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Sunday evening. The deceased was Dulali Khatun, 20, daughter of Zillar Rahman of the aforesaid area. Quoting the victim’s family sources, officer-in-charge of Chapainawabganj sadar police stationMazharul Islam said Dulali’s brother Saheb Ali, 26 hacked her from behind with a sharp weapon killing her on the spot at around 6 pm. Saheb Ali was mentally imbalanced, the OC added quoting the same sources. On information, police recovered the dead body and sent it to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. Police arrested Saheb Ali in this connection.
