PRAN gets $5m spot orders at Gulfood fair in UAE

Bangladeshi food and agro processor giant PRAN has received US$ 5 million export orders in the Gulfood-2017, reports BSS.
The five-day fair, held at Dubai World Trade Center in UAE, ended on March 2 with participation of over 4,200 exhibitors from 99 countries, a press release said yesterday.
PRAN Group has been participating in the fair since 2013 and this year the group displayed its 300 products in two stalls.
Terming the Gulfood as one of the largest food and hospitality fair globally, chief of export at PRAN Group, M Mizanur Rahman said: “Traders from different countries display their products in different categories to the buyers for business deals.”
He said this year they have received fabulous response from the buyers.
Now, PRAN exports its products to 134 countries. The group has exported products worth $ 184 million last year.
