Police recovered two bodies in separate incidents in Rajbari and Joypurhat yesterday, reports UNB.
In Rajbari: Police recovered the body of a man from a field at Habaspur village in Pangsha upazila early yesterday, two days after he had gone missing.
Mohammad Mofazzal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Pangsha Police Station, said Alam Pramanik, 37, of Habaspur village, went missing on Wednesday night on his way home from his father-in-law’s house.
Police arrested Karim, brother-in-law of Alam, after the victim’s father lodged a complaint with the Pangsha Police Station on Friday.
On the basis of information gleaned from Karim, police recovered the body of Alam from a field in the morning, the OC added.
Police sent the body to Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. A murder case was filed in this connection.
In Joypurhat: A minor boy was found dead at Munshipara in Kalai municipality early yesterday, a day after he had gone missing.
Nuruzzaman Chowdhury, OC of Kalai Police Station, said Shuvo Rahman, 7, son of Abdul Gafur of the area, went missing on Friday morning after he had gone out for playing.
His father then filed a general diary with the police station in this connection.
