Youth stabbed to death
A youth was stabbed to death in Gabtoli area of the capital yesterday. The deceased was identified as Shahadat Hossain, 18, hailed from Naogaon district, and a day labourer at Balu Ghat in the area.
He was living at a rented house at Baghbari Uttara Para under Darus Salam Police Station.
Sub Inspector Jahanur Ali of Darus Salam Police Station confirmed the incident and said some assailants indiscriminately stabbed Shahadat around 10am yesterday.
He was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries
