The International Energy Efficiency Day will be observed in the country today as elsewhere in the globe, aiming to create awareness among people about the efficient and economic use of energy and power, reports UNB.

Hydrocarbon Unit (HU) under the Energy Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources will organize a daylong seminar at Radisson Hotel in the city marking the day.
State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid will inaugurate the seminar while local and foreign energy experts will speak on the occasion.
