Workers attacked a police team and foiled their attempt to arrest four accused from a garment factory in Malibagh Chowdhurypara area of the capital yesterday morning, reports UNB.
A team of police went to the factory of 'Dragon Group' to arrest four accused, including its managing director Mostafa Golam Kader and his son, in a case filed under the Labour Act, said Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station.
The factory workers obstructed the policemen from entering the factory and attacked them, leaving four of the law enforcers, injured.
The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
