Spilt, Logan hit Star Cineplex

Two most talked-about American films are being screened at the Star Cineplex in the capitals Basundhara Shopping Mall. One is American psychological thriller-horror film Split written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan and other is Logan-tenth installment in the X-Men film series. The film Split starring James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy and Betty Buckley, shows that three girls are kidnapped by a man with a diagnosed 23 distinct personalities, they must try to escape before the apparent emergence of a frightful new 24th.
The film had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 26, 2016. It also screened at the AFI Fest on November 15, 2016. The film was theatrically released on January 20, 2017, in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. As of February 26, 2017, Split has grossed $131.7 million in the United States and Canada and $90.8 million in other territories for a worldwide gross of $222.6 million, against a production budget of $9 million.
On the other hand, Logan a 2017 American superhero film is directed by James Mangold and stars Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen. The film follows a past-his-prime Logan undertaking a final adventure in a dystopian future. In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logans attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Logan premiered at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival on February 17, 2017 and was released in the United States on March 3, 2017, in standard and IMAX formats.
