Six ‘robbers’ arrested in Gazipur

Police arrested six suspected robbers from Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Baspotti in Tongi area of the city early yesterday, reports UNB. ng of 9-10 highway robbers intercepted a bus and tried to commit robbery around 3 am. On information, police rushed in and arrested six robbers while the others managed to flee the scene. Police also recovered one pistol and two bullets from their possession.
