Call to establish crime free society

GAIBANDHA: M Mashrukur Rahman Khaled, newly appointed superintendent of police, on Wednesday underlined the importance of enhancing cordial relationship between police and media men to establish a crime free society, reports BSS. He said this while addressing a view exchange meeting with the local journalists organized by district police administration here. The meeting discussed elaborately to stop gambling, drug trading, theft and robbery, removing traffic jam and overall law and order situation in the district. M. Mashrukur Rahman Khaled sought whole hearted cooperation from the journalists to establish a crime free peaceful society in the district with the help of people. District high police officials and a good number of journalists of print and electronic media attended the meeting.
