Police in special drive against drug arrested 26 people from different thana areas in the capital on charges of taking and peddling drug in the last 24 hours till 6am yesterday.
Police recovered 516 pieces of contraband yaba tablets, 390 grams heroin, 1550 bottles of phensidyl, 49 cans beer, 20 litre and 15 bottles of local liquor and 374 injections from their possessions, an official release said.
