Hizb-ut Tahrir man held in capital

Police arrested an operative of the banned Islamist outfit Hizb-ut Tahrir from the Shahbagh area of the capital on Wednesday, reports BSS. 
A squad of Counter Terrorism Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Sajid Bin Alam, 25, a student of Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Dhaka University from Shahbagh area around 3.30pm on Wednesday on charges of conducting publicity in favour of the Hizb-ut Tahrir, said an  official. Legal action was taken to this end.
