Eastern University Mooting Team has become the winner in the Bangladesh national round of Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2017 and qualified for the international round, which will held in Washington DC, USA, later this year, says a press release.Eastern University (EU) defeated University of Dhaka in both final rounds to win. The EU team included Wardi Zaman, Muhammad Naimur Rahman and Jubaida Sakin. They were mentored by ABM Imdadul Haque Khan, assistant professor of the Department of Law.The competition was organised by AsianSIL Bangladesh in collaboration with ILSA (International Law Students Association). As many as 16 public and private universities participated in the competition in Bangladesh.
