Four Jamaat men held in Jhenidah

Members of Detective Branch (DB) of the police arrested four leaders and workers of the district unit of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami from Chuadanga Bus Stand area of the town this noon.

Police said the arrested are district Jamaat Ameer Abul Kashem, 58, Sadar upazila Jamaat Ameer Matiar Rahman, 51, workers Akhtaruzzaman, 50, and Ashraful Haque, 52.
Being informed, a team of the DB police conducted a raid in the area and arrested the leaders and activists, said officer-in-Charge (OC) of DB police M Daud Hossain.
