Dhruba Music Station starts its journey

With the aim of taking the country’s music to greater heights, a new audio company named Dhruba Music Station started its journey on Saturday. The station was launched through a grandiose programme at a restaurant in the capital. The programme was attended by noted singers, musicians and other performance artists including Ferdous Ara, Kumar Biswajit, Chowdhury Jafarullah Sharafat, Shawkat Ali Emon, Asif, Zulfiqer Russell, Habib, Kona, Elita, Kazi Shuvo, Bellal Khan, Liza, Porshi and Oishi.
“Dhruba Guha is a singer. By launching a music station, he has proved that he came to the music arena not for doing business but with the aim of taking Bangladesh’s music to a beautiful and rightful place. By welcoming the effort, we should support him. Then it will be able to foster our own culture. In the process, the dreams of Dhruba Music Station will be fulfilled”, said singer Kumar Biswajit.
Dhruba Guha, the owner of the audio company, said “We want to make sure that the right cultural development are promoted and to uplift Bangla songs to the international standard. Besides working with the established artists, Dhruba Music Station will also work to provide a platform for the unidentified music talents spread all over the country.  For this, I request help from all at their respective positions.”
Meanwhile, on the launching day, 16 new albums by renowned singers—Kumar Bishwajit, Asif Akbar, Habib Wahid, Tahsan, Samina Chowdhury, Fuad Al Muktadir, Nancy, Imran, Kona, Belal Khan, Jewel Morshed, Dhruba Guha, Minar, FA Sumon, Kazi Shuvo, Porshi, Sheikh Borhanuddin Shan, Sohel Mehedi, Mohammad Milon, Muhin, Puja, Mehedi Hasan, Oishi, Rafat, Ilias Hossain, Nodi, Kheya and Smaran were released under the banner of Dhruba Music Station.
