PRAN, one of the food processors in the country, will export products worth $2 million to the Netherlands.
An agreement was signed between PRAN and Engel Foreign Food Group in this connection at PRAN-RFL Center, said a press release on Saturday.
Under the deal, PRAN will export its noodles, juice and confectionery items to the European country.
Eleash Mridha, managing director of PRAN, and Wim Engel, CEO of Engel Foreign Food Group signed the deal on behalf of their respective organizations for a year.
Eleash Mridha said the demand of PRAN's products is gradually increasing in the European countries.
PRAN products will be available in the Netherlands due to the agreement. PRAN exports its products to different European countries including the Netherlands, France, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and the UK regularly.
Wim Engel said PRAN is a popular company in Bangladesh and the company has also good image in many parts of the world. "I hope PRAN products will get more popularity in the Netherlands."
Golam Rasul, Assistant General Manager (Export) and Mahmudul Hasan, Assistant Manager (Export) of PRAN, among others, were present at the signing ceremony held recently.
