An old train compartment caught fire at Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital yesterday, reports UNB.
Palash Chandra Madak, duty officer at Fire Service Central Control Room, said the fire broke out at the bogie around 6:20 pm.
On information, three firefighting units rushed in to extinguish the flame, he said.
However, the origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
