Wari off to bright start

Title aspirants Wari Club were off to bright start in the Popular Insurance Open Women Volleyball Tournament winnings two matched on the opening day at Dhaka Volleyball Stadium in the capital yesterday.

Wari Club outplayed  Sparkling Club  25-8, 25-20 in their first match. Then they demolished Bangladesh University of Professionals 25-9, 25-4.
A total of five matches were held on the day. United Club beat Bangladesh University of Professionals 25-11, 25-11, Shahbagh Sporting Club beat Dhaka University 25-4, 25-2 and Sparkling Academy beat United Club 25-7, 25-10 in the other three matches.
