BCL 5th round from today

The franchisee-based Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) will resume with the fifth round games after three-day break at the two different host cities across the country today.

Leaders BCB North Zone will face-off Walton Central Zone at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS), while Islami Bank East Zone will take on Prime Bank South Zone at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chittagong.
After the end of the fourth round, BCB North Zone and Prime Bank South Zone racked up the identical 12 points from one win and three draws but North Zone are on pole position due to the better net run-rate than South Zone.
On the other hand, Walton Central Zone and Islami Bank East Zone chalked up the same nine points from a win and draw along with two drubbings but Central Zone placed third on points table because of their better net run-rate than East Zone.
