Dr AK Abdul Momen has been elected new chairman of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), reports BSS.
Abdul Momen, also former ambassador and permanent representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, was elected CSE chairman at a meeting of the board of directors, said a CSE official.
Momen was born on 23 August 1947 in Sylhet. He was also President of the United Nations High-Level Committee on South-South Cooperation.
He also served as president of the UNICEF Executive Board at the international level.
