Fugitive killer in murder case held

Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) arrested a fugitive killer in connection with killing a school student Rajiur Rahman Khan alias Rian, 15, from the capital's Rupnagar area of Mirpur on Friday evening, reports BSS.
The arrestee was identified as Md Sujon Islam, 24, son of Jalil Bepari, of village Nathai, under Gouronadi Police Station in Barisal and a resident of house-13, road 5, Arifabad under Rupnagar Police Station, said an official release.
Sujon along with some others stabbed to death Rian following an altercation over playing badminton at Arafabad Cadet Madrasha field at Rupnagar on December 11 in 2014. Two friends of the deceased were also injured in the attack.
