Sailor dies from burn injuries

A foreign sailor was burn to death after receiving burn injuries at a container vessel at the outer anchorage of Chittagong Port on Wednesday reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Barsef Kayes, a Ukraine national. Sources said the sailor received burn injuries from the boiler machine while working in the engine room of a container vessel named ‘MV Camila’ at the outer anchorage of Chittagong port here around 4:30 pm. Later, he was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared him dead, said Sub-inspector Zahirul, in-charge of the hospital police camp.
