Network to be set up next year in Yunnan

On February 9, the Work Plan for the Construction of the Yunnan Provincial Ecological Environment Monitoring Network (hereafter referred to as the “Work Plan”) was promulgated. By 2018, Yunnan hopes to set up a basic ecological environment monitoring network covering environmental quality, identification of key pollution sources, environmental conditions and other elements across the entire province.

By 2020, Yunnan expects to complete the construction of a provincial ecological environment monitoring network and achieve holistic monitoring of environmental elements.
