The election to Chittagong Taxes BarAssociation (CTBA) will be held on February 26 with three panels contesting the election. Election commission sources said all preparations have been completed and candidates have been urged to obey the election rules strictly, reports BSS from Chittagong.
Election commissioner Mohammad Abdul Malek told the news agency that wall writing and pasting of posters have strictly been prohibited.
Three panels, Awami League and pro-liberation forces backed Chattagram Taxes Ainjibi Somonnoy Parishad, progressive and left leaning Sommilito Ainjibi Parisad and pro- BNP-Jamaat backed Chattagram Taxes Ainjibi Oikya Parishad are vying for posts in the election this year.
