Ctg Abahani look to book semifinal berth

Nepalese also strong contender for semifinal

Saiful Bari Titu and Abdul Kayum Sentu, both the head coaches of Chittagong Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club (Dhaka) will give their all out effort to win the match today when the former wants to confirm the semifinal and the latter at least to stay in the race to move into semifinal.
The day's second match will take place at 7pm at MA Aziz Stadium in the ongoing Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup football tournament.
Titu, who joined the defending champions of the tournament this season, though in an advantageous position after winning the first match, said, “We will field certainly to win the match, no question to undermined Mohammedan, actually we never take any team lightly, we always take all the opponents as strong side.”
“We want to ensure the semifinal place with winning today’s match, all players okay, no injury problem, they will be a change when Zahid will play today probably replacing Mannaf Rabbi.
Mohammedan coach Sentu, who is very upset after conceding defeat in the first match against Nepal team said, “In fact we have nothing to lose, I just try to make the boys to understand to motivate them to play without any pressure and just to focus on to win the match.”
“There is no way but to win to remain in the tournament, so certainly players will fight at their level best to win.”
“I also detailed the plans to players how to stop the foreign booter, I try to inspire boys telling that 'you know all foreign booters of Abahani, you played against in the league, so nothing to afraid of them or over-rated them.' Now depends on the players how they perform in the field,” Sentu, who recently appointed as coach.
Marshyangdi - Shaheen
Manag Marshyangdi Club of Nepal want to confirm their semifinal berth today before a match left to play in the group phase when they will take on Shaheen FC of Afghanistan.
The match will take place at 4pm at the MA Aziz Stadium followed the Chittagong Abahani Limited will play against Mohammedan Sporting Club in the day’s second match at the same ground.
The Nepalese team trounced Mohammedan Sporting Club by 2-0 in their tournament opener, on the other hands, their opponents Shaheen Asmayee conceded 1-3 defeat to host Chittagong Abahani Limited, so it would be also a do or die match for the Afghan team to stay in the race.   
Chhiring Losang, the Head coach of Manang Marshyangdi  after their practice session yesterday at the Women Krira Complex, Sagorika, Chittagong said, “Tomorrow’s match is very important, anyhow we will have to win the match to move into the semifinal.”
“I have all ready explained to my boys, what will be our strategy for the match, I told them how to play to win the match, it will be not like the previous match, there is no way to take risk, they should be more serious than the first match.”
Chhiring Losang, who has been working with this team for last to years, set his plan for the match, “The formation also have already been ready, the initial formation will be 4-5-1 but with the match proceeding it might be changed, when we will go for attack then the formation will be 4-3-3 and to defend 4-5-1.”
"The Afghan are very good side, they have 4/5 dangerous players if we can stop them, we will win. I have also made it clear to my players the technique how to stop them.”              
Boir Igamberdiev, Afghan coach who was not satisfied with his team’s performance and obviously the result against Chittagong Abahani said that they will try to bounce back and do everything to win the match.
