Bernicat to meet Khaleda today

US Ambassador in Dhaka Marcia Bernicat is going to meet BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia this afternoon, reports UNB. The meeting is scheduled to be held at Khaleda’s Gulshan office around 4:30pm, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told the news agency yesterday. BNP sources said issues relating to bilateral interests of the two countries and Bangladesh’s latest political situation will be discussed at the meeting. A BNP leader close to Khaleda said some other issues like BNP chairperson’s proposal on the election-time supportive government, current Election Commission and Bangladesh’s next general election are likely to come up for discussion during the parley.
