Two women held with yaba

NOAKHALI: Police in a drive arrested two women and recovered 1,900 pieces of yaba tablets and 10 can beers from Sondalpur village in Chatkhil upazila yesterday morning, reports BSS.
Being informed, a team of police from Chatkhil Police Station conducted the drive at the village and arrested the women and recovered the yaba tablets and beers after searching their house, said Nasim Uddin, officer-in-charge of the police station.Sensing the presence of law enforcers, Nur Alam and his son fled away, the OC said.
