SSC examinee dies in accident

Rangpur: A Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee was killed in a road accident in Jamtala area under Pirganj upazila yesterday morning, reports BSS.
The victim was identified as Monira Khatun, 15, daughter of Mahabubur Rahman, of Rampura village of the upazila.
OC of Pirganj Police Station Rejaul Karim said the accident occurred when a tractor hit a rickshaw-van in the area from behind, leaving the van passenger Monira dead on the spot.
