PM to lay foundation stone in Apr

Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque yesterday said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lay the foundation stone of Padma Bridge rail link project in April, reports UNB.
A loan agreement of the project will be finalised with the Chinese government by March", said the minister while inaugurating 14 coaches of 'Rangpur Express' train at Kamalapur Railway Station.
He also said that on priority basis, the government is working for the development of railway sector. 
The minister also will inaugurate 16 coaches of Chittagong-bound 'Mahanagar Express train from the railway station.
Earlier, government signed an agreement with a Chinese construction company to implement the ‘Padma Bridge Rail Link Project.’ According to deal, the company, China Railway Group Limited (CREC), will set up railway connectivity between the capital and the southwestern part of the country.
